This guide provides CertnCentric clients with the steps to disable the Non-Biometric Identity Verification option in their account.
Note: Non-Biometric Identity Verification is enabled by default for clients. Login to your client portal to disable this default setting.
When this option is enabled, eligible applicants who fail OneID verification will be seamlessly redirected to a Non-Biometric Identity Verification process for an additional fee.
When disabled, applicants can manually opt out of OneID and complete the Non-Biometric Identity Verification, but failed attempts will not automatically fall back to Non-Biometric Identity Verification.
Step-by-step instructions:
- Securely log in into your CertnCentric account.
- Navigate to settings then proceed to the Check Settings page.
- Under the Identity Verification section locate the toggle labeled "Allow Non-Biometric Identity Verification Fallback for OneID.
- Toggle your option to "Off" or "On" as desired.
- If you are disabling the setting, you will need to confirm your choice. Disabling this option will prompt a pop-up window for you to confirm your selection.
- Confirm the changes by clicking "Disable" on the pop-up.
- A confirmation message will appear, indicating that the setting has successfully changed, and the toggle position will reflect the new selection.
You have now disabled the Non-Biometric Identity Verification fallback for OneID within your CertnCentric account settings. You can change this setting at any time, and in progress applications will automatically reflect the change.
