Explanation of results
A case is complete when the applicant has successfully submitted their information, Certn has executed all checks in the case and returned the relevant results. A complete employment verification check can have 1 of 3 results:
- Verified: The employment information supplied by the applicant has been verified by Certn.
- Partially verified: Certn was only able to verify some of the employment information supplied by the applicant. This includes, but is not limited to, when information is restricted due to an organization's privacy policy or is otherwise unavailable.
- Discrepancy: Certn received the required employment information, but some or all of the information did not match information supplied by the applicant.
- Unable to verify: Certn was unable to verify any of the employment information supplied by the applicant.
An applicant may choose for Certn to not contact their current employer, which will return a check result of either Partially verified or Unable to verify dependent on whether we are able to verify other employment history submitted by the applicant.
