Method 1: Sending An Invitation Email
Step 1: Create A New Order
- Log in to CertnCentric
- Click New Order
- You will have two options:
- Select an existing package
- Build your own package
In CertnCentric, all checks are grouped under what is called a “Package,” even if you are only sending one check.
Creating packages allows businesses to reuse the same check setup without rebuilding the order each time.
Without a package:
- Users must manually select Build Your Own and configure the check every time
With a package:
- Users can simply select the package and send invitations immediately
Step 2: Build Your Own Package
- Select Build Your Own
- Select By Country
- Choose either:
- Standard Australian Criminal Check
- Volunteer Australian Criminal Check
The selected checks will appear in the Order Summary section
Both Standard and Volunteer criminal record checks automatically include identity verification check
For more information about packages, see Managing Packages
Step 3: Complete Check Information
- Select the appropriate Check Category
- Enter Role Information
If unsure, click What’s This? for definitions and guidance
Step 4: Send The Invitation
- Enter the applicant email address in the Send To field
- Multiple email addresses can be entered at once
Separate multiple email addresses using ' ; ' so the system can recognise each recipient correctly
- Complete any optional fields if required by your business
- Click Next Steps in the top right corner
- Review all information
- Click Send
- A confirmation page will appear once the invitation has been successfully sent
Method 2: Sending Checks Using Apply Links
Purpose of Apply Links
Apply links allow businesses to share a reusable URL instead of manually sending invitation emails.
This is useful for:
- Recruitment teams
- HR teams
- Bulk hiring processes
A package must already exist before creating an apply link
- Navigate to Apply Links at the side bar
- Click New Apply Link
- Enter a link name
Where possible, businesses are encouraged to pre-fill the check purpose information when creating apply links.
This helps:
- Reduce applicant confusion
- Prevent processing delays
- Depending on business setup, additional fields may appear such as:
- Department
- Group
- Select the required package
- Choose the appropriate check category
- Complete:
- Role/Position Title
- Company Name
If unsure, click What’s This? for definitions and guidance
- Click Create Link
- The apply link will now appear in the Apply Links section
For more information about links, see Apply Links
