A Credit Report includes information on an individual's credit activity and overall financial health. Reported information may include tradelines, bankruptcies, public records, collections information and credit score.
Note: OneID is automatically added to any order which includes a Credit Report check, to verify the identity of the applicant.
For more information on how this works, see the OneID Dependencies Certn Help article.

Types of Credit Report checks
Single region based on address
A Canada or US Credit Report will be initiated based on the address history disclosed by the applicant. Certn will use the most recent address to run the corresponding Credit Report.
Note: Clients are required to go through a separate credentialing process for Canadian and US credit. The account must have credentials for both regions in order to order this check.
Credit Report - Canada
The Canadian Credit Report includes the Equifax Risk Score (ERS 2.0), a robust scoring model tailored to assess a range of credit file characteristics including delinquency, utilization, public records, and more.
Credit Report - United States
The United States Credit Report includes the VantageScore 4.0 for clients running Credit Report checks for tenancy and other purposes. This is the latest scoring model tailored to assess a range of credit file characteristics including delinquency, bankruptcy, utilization, and more.
Note: The credit score will not be included for clients running US Credit Report checks for employment purposes.
