On June 12, 2025, a widespread outage involving Cloudflare and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) led to intermittent disruptions across various online services. While some users were able to access Certn's systems, some users may have experienced temporary issues accessing our platform, completing their checks, or receiving timely notifications.
Impact on Certn services
Certn users might have encountered the following:
- Delayed email or SMS notifications
- Intermittent access issues when logging in or managing their accounts.
- Issues completing their background check applications.
- Slower load times on certain pages
Return of services
The outage involving Cloudflare and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) has now been reported as resolved. Certn’s engineering team will continue to actively monitor system performance and will promptly address any issues that arise. Updates will be posted to this article as they become available.
