Explanation of results
A case is complete when the applicant has successfully submitted their information, Certn has executed all checks in the case and returned the relevant results. A complete Education verification check can have 1 of 4 results:
- Verified: The education information supplied by the applicant has been verified by Certn.
- Partially verified: Certn was only able to verify some of the Education information supplied by the applicant. This includes, but is not limited to, when an institution is able to confirm attendance and/or degree level but not subject / grade.
- Discrepancy: Certn received the required education information, but some or all of the information did not match information supplied by the applicant.
- Unable to verify: Certn was unable to verify any of the education information supplied by the applicant. This result will include additional information as to why it was unable to be verified, for example: “No response received from the institution after multiple attempts”.
