Reported information may include tradelines, bankruptcies, public records, collections information and credit score. The check locates the credit file based on the addresses provided by the individual.

Required account credentials
Your account needs the appropriate credentials in order to run this check. Request Canadian Credit Report check issuing credentials by reaching out to Certn's Support team at support@certn.co. In your request, include:
- the legal name of your organization,
- the business number for your organization, and
- the address where you will be accessing the credit report information.

Applicant experience
When you order a Canadian Credit Report check your applicant receives an email inviting them to complete an online form for the included checks. Through this process, an applicant will supply Certn with their:

- date of birth,
- phone number,
- address details for the last 6 months with a maximum of 3 addresses, and
- social insurance number (SIN), although this last field is optional.
